we know her – some of us more, some maybe less.
very rarely do we talk about her.
if at all, then about standard topics: pregnancy or menstruation. often only when the desperation is too great. more often with a hand covering the mouth. it doesn’t have to be like this.
it works like an immense sign of appreciation and a testament to one’s trustworthiness when women talk to others about their Yoni.
this was not always like that. when women lived closer together, such secrets were a matter of exchange and the elderly guided younger women in gaining better knowledge of themselves. this was very characteristic for a women’s community. knowledge was passed to the next generation.
I know myself how this is.
my relationship with my Yoni has not always been the same as it is today. through conversations, observation I learned a lot over the years. my perseption changed through touching, feeling, exploring …
after a relatively shocking experience in the world of tantra I consider myself lucky to have found some capable and trustworthy guides and teachers over the years.
this knowledge and experience is important for each woman. I am even convinced that every woman should grow up with it, so that it becomes her every-day-reality. Pussy health is crucial for our overall wellbeing.

1. SOAPS AND THEIR RELATIVES
there is an over-fascination with sterility in our society. our Yoni is very well capable of purifying itself. we don’t have to contribute excessively to make this happen.
for me there are no soaps or shampoos for intimate washing ‘down there’. I also don’t follow the supertrend to perfume my Yoni. we need her natural state and the own production of pheromones to communicate our sexual availability to potential partners. naturally the Yoni smells best.
every single milliliter of these commercial products contains chemicals and alters our natural balance.
in particular … never use any of these products to wash or insert between your vulva lips.
I only use water … and occasionally play with the water jet. my Yoni feels super comfortable with this massage.
2. TOILET PAPER
after living in countries with intimate showers – lovingly called bum guns – for years of my life, I only feel really clean when I use those. toilet paper only if I have to. here as well, I prefer the pure ones, without color or print, as they not only wipe away the traces, but also the good bacteria. and between us … I like my Yoni with her own scent. 3. BOTTOM-LESS
I only wear underwear when I have to – and then only made of natural materials. Cotton or bamboo are not only breathable, but also super soft materialy and don’t limit me in any way. I like it when my Yoni breathes and has space. admittedly… in the beginning it really felt a bit unusual. to get used to it, I integrated this very slowly, e.g. while sleeping or when I was at home.
4. RED ALARM
once I discovered Mooncups some years ago, I only used those. meanwhile I don’t like to deal with them, especially with my excessive travels and when using public toilets.
however, ordinary pads and tampons not only pollute the environment but also me. the bleaching and gluing process is something that is said to have caused some toxic shock to women. I had my own troubles with tampons – fainting and incredible cramps. as long as there are no clear statements from the manufacturers, I only use them if I have to.
menstruating is something so natural, so that I practice free bleeding.
when this is not possible for various reasons, I use cotton pads whenever possible. it’s a one-time investment, but after washing I can use them over and over again. and in case you feel disgust … remember: our comfort zone is defined by laziness. and it is not always for our good.
5. ANTIBIOTICS – ANTI-HEALTH?
antibiotics, which are now consumed like breakfast pretzels at the 5-star-hotel-buffet, have the excellent ability to fight infections – but also to modify all of our bacteria. digestive disorders, rashes on the skin or vaginal discharge are just a few signs that the natural system is out of balance and no longer cooperates. it could no longer keep the good bacteria and is now sending you signals, so that you can balance it out.
just for fun… or probably it will stop when reading… have a close look to the side effects written on the package insert.
there are plenty of natural antibiotics out there, and if you really have to, balance the chemical bomb with a pro-biotic and a healthy, alkaline diet.
6. TALKING ABOUT FOOD
for me, diet is one of the most important health influencers. the formula is very simple:

what does healthy exactly mean…? is it same for everyone?
that is probably a definition that every person has to answer by themselves. however, there are some things that definitely are part of it: fresh, local food rich in nutrients and fiber, enough water, only little sugar intake and always paying attention to a good balance of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. avoid ready-made meals and junk-food. the quality that comes into my mouth directly reflects the care that goes into everything else and this reflects on how my Yoni feels.
7. HORMONES & CO.
many years ago I stopped taking hormonal supplements, pills and contraceptives. after being commonly used by a large part of the female population in the economically developed countries, they appear to be something natural. but I consider them something that suppresses something purely feminine and influence my natural flow.
I wouldn’t even think of changing the tide because the phases of the low and high tides are too uncomfortable for me.
only Homo sapiens are capable of such nonsense. my cycle should pass unhindered. each phase of the cycle has its own meaning and justification. when the cycle is manipulated, my natural feel is suppressed too. how should I be able to feel my natural self when I am driven artificially?
8. NATRON or BAKING SODA
since I come from a part of the world where baking soda is THE solution for almost everything, I was convinced that I’ll find some home recipe to serve my Yoni, just to find out that baking soda is also an internationally recognized remedy for many small ailments…
after my long travels, active yoga classes or natural expeditions, I treat myself to something special. a little baking soda mixed with water, rubbing my entire pelvis with it, rinsing it off. alternatively, a siting bath … that is incredibly relaxing and promotes my vitality.
sodium bicarbonate is fabulously basic. after one of these treats, I massage myself with coconut oil until the Yoni chuckles with joy.
9. GARLIC
a great advise that was given to me by women in very simple and natural environments is – the magic tuber.
if my Yoni gets a little irritated, or for a general monthly cleaning, I insert a clove of garlic overnight. garlic, with its great potency, will not only drive away the fungi or bacteria, but sometimes also conjures up the energies of the ex-partner… hahaaa not to forget … it could also drive out the future partner or anyone else who comes too close to you if they don’t like it.
you can usually pull some dental floss through. pay attention to use the one without peppermint, otherwise it will be a bit fresh in your vagina. I like to leave it in for a few hours or overnight and then remove it.
a sign of a healthy womb is – according to these women – when you can start smelling the garlic from the mouth shortly after the garlic was being inserted. ideally advise your partner in advance … because he will be thrilled … probably more with the long-term effect of a healthy, less irritable Yoni than the current olfactory delight.
10. LUBRICANTS
… from a common store are a no-go in my bedroom or anywhere else I make love. packed with chemicals, my Yoni just doesn’t want them.
a healthy Yoni has a natural moisturizing effect, which is perfectly moisturized during delicious sex. if you have a pleasurable lovelife she will get really wet at the mere thought of lovemaking. get some ideas in my post about the clitoris.
alternatively, if it feels good for all involved, saliva works very well, or my other magician … coconut oil. please remember that coconut oil and condoms don’t like each other.
11. COCONUT OIL
in addition to baking soda, coconut oil always travels in my luggage. not just for its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. it’s a great oil for self-massage. after taking a shower I rub it into my entire body. apart from the fact that I like to massage my Yoni myself, it is also very nice to receive a Yoni massage.
12. MASSAGE
if I could, I would prescribe a professional Yoni Massage to every woman at least once a year. the art of massaging the Yoni is not something that can be learned in a weekend course or via YouTube. moreover it is not about techniques either, because that is often a showplay of various touches, movemnents and tricks. I advise to take a proper course with a well trained sex educator.
my favorites are people who create a space I am comfortable to drop in, make me feel safe and who are there for me in their total presence. only then do I feel the confidence for fully surrender.
