Ah, orgasms… the tingles, the euphoria, the tiny differences that make each one so special…
The different types of orgasms for women go much further than the basic – but incredibly wonderful – clitoral orgasm.

The explosive end-goal the worldly love-makers are striving for in their sex life. The ground-breaking, earth-shattering, out-of-this-world release of ecstasy. Whilst for some women it’s simply a release, something like taking a much-needed deep breath.
An orgasm a day will not entirely keep the doctor away, but it will help.
If we only listen to movies, songs, and book stereotypes, we’ll learn that there’s only one way of having an orgasm. The dramatic and noisy ‘Hollywood-orgasm-style’ usually involves squealing, screaming, and ‘earth-shattering’ explosions. We forget that on the screens – especially pornographic ones – an orgasm is often a performance and someone makes money with it.
When asking women about it, the most popular description is often something like ‘fireworks.’
This pressure to perform that we learn from all kinds of media can be rooted in a toxic idea that women must ‘prove’ to their partner that they came. (Cue the history of ‘faking it’ in order to please the partners.)
There’s a belief and misconception that orgasms are a must – that orgasms alone are the ultimate goal during sex. We treat it as a must because if we don’t climax, we believe that our performance wasn’t ‘pleasing’ or ‘satisfying’ enough for ourselves or our partners.
Just so that we’re on the same page. There’s no denying that orgasms are ah-mazing!
But they’re certainly not the point of, nor the defining feature of, sex.
PLEASURE IS.
That being said, let’s dive into the vast world of orgasm.
Let’s get one thing straight: any orgasm is a good orgasm. But what most Yoni owners don’t know is that you can experience multiple types of orgasm. Women, unlike men, can have multiple orgasms in one sitting – or ‘laying’, if you will. The more Os the merrier.
But how many types of female orgasm are there?
There are more than two types of orgasm. There are also more than 3 types of orgasm.
In fact, there are six types of female orgasm! And this is without counting the different combinations of orgasm types that your body is capable of creating.
Let’s look at the six types of female orgasm.
1. CLITORIS – OUR HOODED FRIEND
The first type we are covering is…drum roll… The clitoral ohhhh’rgasm!
How we love those…

The clitoris is a tiny yet powerful part of the female body whose only purpose is pleasure. How fabulous is that?!
Clitoral orgasms are called ‘sahajoli’. it’s the Hindu word for ‘spontaneous’, or ‘the thunderbolt’ – because the clitoris has over 8,000 nerve endings. Knowingly activating these nerve endings and all that the clitoris encompasses creates an incredible amount of delicious electricity which has the ability to zap through your entire body and leave your toes curling. You know what I’m talking about.
Personally, when only the clitoral hood is stimulated, my orgasms feel more like a sweet little pin in my womb.
Any direct or indirect stimulation of the clitoris can lead to a clitoral orgasm. When you get it just right, you’ll feel the sensation build in your pleasure bud and, eventually, peak. Some Yoni-owners enjoy pinpointed stimulation (tapping, pressing, flicking) on the visible bud, others’ clits are super-duper sensitive and prefer circular strokes around the external clit – which electrifies the nerves beneath the surface. The entire pelvic floor is a masterpiece that serves our orgasms… in particular the clitoral.
2. VAGINA – THE SACRED CAVE
When people talk about this type of orgasm, they’re typically talking about the pleasure that comes from penetrative play.
I feel that there’s a great overlap between the vaginal and clitoral orgasm as they’re connected by a number of nerve pathways and muscular structures. Not forgetting that the corpus cavernosum sliding out both sides of it tightens the vagina when it’s properly stimulated.
So before you go looking for your own, remember that vaginal orgasms from penetration alone are like female-pleasure-centered erotica novels: rare.

Vaginal orgasms are something I experience as a warm, tingly sensation inside my womb – with the occasional firework.
There are, however, additional erogenous zones inside the vagina that when touched the right way can lead to what’s collectively known as a deep vaginal orgasm. Notably the G-spot, the reflex-points, and the cervix.
The vaginal orgasm centers around the cervix, which is, energetically, both psychological and spiritual. It’s a full-on, no-holding-back orgasm. The energy of this orgasm travels through the center of the spine and activates at the heart — it feels somewhat like a deep bass drum.
You can’t help but love them…
And… have you already heard about Yoni Egg Rocks’ crystal dildos? The magic wands that will level up your energy and spice up your orgasm’ability? A master facilitator for vaginal orgasms. Opens your Shakti and deepens the ability to receive.
3. CERVIX – GATEWAY TO PLEASURE
If deep deep deep penetration is your preference, you may enjoy cervical stimulation and be able to orgasm from it. The cervix is the deepest part of the vaginal canal, imagine a little donut right below the uterus.
For me, cervical stimulation has the potential to lead to full-body orgasms that send waves of tingly pleasure from my head to my toes.
If you like it, great. If it feels too painful, stop.
The position of your cervix moves throughout your cycle. You can either try again at a different time in your menstrual cycle, try one of the other orgasms, or check out another lover… one that understands that your cervix is the gateway to deep, sensational orgasms!
4. BOOBIES – CHARMING LOVE BAGS

I’m really excited about this one – the nipple-gasm! Yep. It’s a real thing!
Your nipples are full of nerve endings that can feel oh-so-good when played with!
Shyama puja is a sensual breast massage considered an empowering activity for people with vulvas. Shyama is the tantric Goddess of the heart. It’s said that arousing pleasure through the breasts and nipples awakens that Goddess responsible for love and bonding.
I would highly recommend breast massages for this kind of stimulation.
Regardless of what your Goddess name is… someone stimulating your breasts in a delicious way is the best foreplay – if not the orgasmic finalé.
Make your breasts more sensitive with some of my magic tricks!
Nipple play activates the same nerve cortex as clitoral and genital stimulation, suggesting it can absolutely be a site for orgasmic pleasure. You can use this as a self-pleasure practice, massaging yourself with our Boobies Oil in the shower, or you can bring it to the bedroom with your partner.
Here’s how it looks for me – nipple orgasms sneak up on me and then explode in waves of full-body pleasure. They are heart-opening and it feels as though loving energy is pouring out of every single one of my cells. Yes, please!

5. ANUS – THE TABOO ENTRY
I couldn’t write an article about female orgasm types without including the love-it-or-hate-it anal approach. Whilst anal orgasms aren’t everyone’s favorite, you should still know about them. And for those who just love anal orgasms, here you’ll learn even more!
Abdominal health is vital for anal orgasms.
The anus and rectum are very close to the vagina and clitoris, and thus they share many of the same nerves and muscles, including the pelvic floor muscle (or PC). The pelvic floor muscle is highly sensitive for many women, stimulating it can encourage an anal orgasm as well as a vaginal orgasm. Experiences here can vary from very intense to a gentle release – but it will always be pleasurable.
As with any other orgasm, you’ll want to get ample amounts of foreplay – such as touching, kissing, vaginal and clitoral stimulation. Once you’re ready and relaxed, start experimenting with a finger for a warm-up. Oh yes!
6. FULL BODY ORGASM – THE ENERGETIC ONE
Finally, we have the full-body Tantric orgasm. Now doesn’t that sound blissful?
A full-body energy orgasm is expansive and can be felt in every part of your body. Yes, you’ve heard right. It can feel like there’s great energy too intense to be contained inside of you, and so it is released throughout your whole body, in your entire energy field. This one is my favorite.
The reason I love this orgasm so much is that it relies on fine-tuning the play between my energy and my partner’s energy. I also love it because I can practice it anytime and anywhere, without limits – leaving me in a state of eternal bliss. Men who are capable of holding me here are my favorite type of men.
You can refine your Tantric practice – which involves unlocking more of your Kundalini energy. Or you can take a ‘layering approach’ – which involves layering different sensations and erogenous zones on top of one another.
Relax, breathe, massage, moan, combine sensations, try edging, and enjoy the full-body ride.
Hey, are you open to a suggestion?
How about we blend them together? That’s right, you can have blended orgasms too!
This is the result of combining two or more of the above! We could write an entire book series about the different types of female orgasm.
It can be achieved by pleasuring your vagina and clitoris simultaneously. Be sure to add other erogenous zones to the mix for an all-out, full-body pleasure party. The neck, ears and inner thighs are just a few examples of some of the sensitive pleasure zones on your body. One of the practices you could incorporate to stimulate different kinds of orgasms is practicing Yoni massages, either by yourself or with a partner.
When you orgasm, the energy in your body runs from your Yoni through your spine and entire nervous system. This is what gives you that ‘orgasmic glow’ everyone is always talking about – the sexual chi coursing through your veins during release.

The takeaway
For one person, an orgasm can appear as many different tingles, sighs, and moans. And one orgasm may lead to four more.
For someone else, it could look completely different.

Orgasms are uniquely satisfying, whether reached from a solo session or with a partner. There isn’t a right way to eat chocolate – however, we eat it, it’s delicious! The same goes for orgasms.
Did you know that chocolate is one of the aphrodisiac superfoods?
Having an orgasm shouldn’t be a contest, it’s not about who comes first. It’s about relaxation, pleasure, satisfaction and self-love. Sexual energy is healing, energizing, creating and life-giving.
As Osho said, ‘a deep sexual orgasm gives the body a sense of being at home. A very, very deep healing occurs in the body because the body feels complete.’
Sexual energy is the strongest life force.
Everyone’s bodily response is different. We’re unique, our reactions vary, and most importantly, not everyone is a screamer. If you are, go for it! Shake those walls… women’s pleasure is particularly powerful, almost like all of the volcanoes erupting at the same time.
Just like you wouldn’t spend the rest of your life just eating one kind of chocolate bar, or wearing one outfit, why not expand your sexual horizons and explore the different types of orgasm your body is capable of? Don’t rush it. Practice slowly and dive deep into the waves of pleasure. Ultimately it’s great to have a favorite outfit and chocolate bar… but when you know how to dress for every occasion or savor all kinds of melting delight between your lips, life becomes abundant on all levels. Try it out.
You’ll find out that fireworks can really be cute, once compared to the wild, earth-shattering, glowingly-hot explosion of a volcano.
Talking of volcanoes… Obsidian is that instant manifestation of a volcanic eruption. One of the most potent Yoni Eggs with unforgettable effects for your womb.
Orgasm’ up!
